Avalon Post

I’m Hunter Morrison, and Avalon Post is another project of mine.  I have aspirations of writing professionally someday, and as such, I try to keep flexing my writing muscle in as many ways as possible.

Having not written any sort of serious commentary since my days as at my college newspaper, I decided that this was a major hole that my current projects were not designed to fill in any way.  Thus Avalon Post was born, as an outlet for me to expess my views on a variety of issues.

I would like to note that this is merely an exercise for me.  I do not claim to be an authority on any of the topics I write about here, and I am sure my opinions are full of fallacies, inaccuracies, and other sort of problems.  Yet I do not intend for people to care about my opinions–I am not hoping to become a blogging sensation or anything like that, and as such, I am not too worried about the aforementioned problems.  Thus, I hope you, dear reader who somehow stumbled upon this site, will not care too much about these problems either.

That being said, I always appreciate discussion, feedback, and learning new things, so feel free to leave comments on anything and everything.  The above disclaimer is basically my attempt to somewhat-fancily say, “I’m not taking this too seriously, so don’t expect perfection and don’t take it too seriously yourself.”

Thanks for visiting.  Someday I intend to flesh this page out a little more and make it look a little more professional, but for now I simply decided to add something here aside from the default text.
